Textile Story

 

This cotton is woven entirely by hand on traditional looms, preserving a textile tradition that has remained largely unchanged for generations. After harvesting, the cotton is ginned and carded to remove seeds and impurities before being spun into yarn. The finished yarn is then carefully prepared for the loom, where each length of cloth is woven by hand - a meticulous process requiring skill, patience and precision.

 

The resulting fabric possesses a softness, breathability and character that reflects its handcrafted origins. The slower rhythm of hand weaving creates a cloth with subtle texture, gentle movement and an organic quality that cannot be replicated by industrial production. Light yet durable, it is designed to become more supple with wear while remaining comfortable across the seasons.

 

Minor variations in weave, texture and tone are not imperfections but the hallmark of a fabric made by human hands. They speak to the individuality of each length of cloth and are an inherent part of its beauty.
