The Lineya Linen Collection
Sophisticated. Ethereal. Lustrous.
Our Lineya Linen Collection is for the bon viveur: the delicacy of the rippled texture, the dull lustre of metallic zari threads, the rich, jewel-tone palette, & gently billowing drapes make Lineya a treat for the senses.
Exuding an understated elegance, each piece is designed to add a little glamour to your everyday. Lineya is for solitary beach strolls, indulgent weekends, & languid garden brunches.
Named in homage to the ancient women linen workers of Egypt, Lineya honors a heritage of craftsmanship dating back millennia. Our Indian craftswomen & men have further refined this craft, infusing it with their own heritage, skill & dedication.
In Lineya, we showcase two weights of exquisite, premium linen.
The first is hand woven by an NGO that trains & employs women weavers in central India, & blends linen with mulberry silk & lustrous copper zari to create a highly textured, semi-structured & weighted cloth. This is our Chamak Line, which means lustre or glimmer in Hindi.
The second, handwoven by a Weavers Society in West Bengal, is a delicate, gauze weight linen embellished with subtle zari detailing. This is our Jaal Line, which means net in Hindi. Read more about these artisans & process here.
Our apparel is stitched by brothers Parvez & Lal in Delhi.
