Our Artist Dress is my personal favourite: worn once, you'll never want to wear anything else! Cut in a silhouette flattering to a range of shapes and sizes: the flat collar frames the face; the fitted dolman sleeves add shape to the over-sized cut; and side panels under the gusset add flare. Wear as a dress, or alternatively as a house-coat with the front open.
- Wide-cut body with relaxed silhouette & semi-fitted sleeves
- Closes down the center front with mother of pearl buttons
- Mid-calf length
- Side seam pockets
- Crafted in habutai silk dyed in the itajime shibori technique
- Each 3m piece of fabric is folded, clamped and dyed by hand, so there are slight variations in colour and pattern between pieces
- All orders come lovingly packed in recycled silk bags
